The founding principals of Parsons & Lumsden were previously partners in large consulting practices operating in the United Kingdom and South Africa, and have over 60 years joint experience in design and project management, in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering.

The need for close co-operation with other professionals, the client and construction team is strongly recognised. Particular attention is given to conducting a study of alternative options to arrive at the best engineering solutions.

It has been our committed philosophy to stay abreast with the latest technologies locally and abroad that would be pertinent to our domestic requirements.

The founding principals are members of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Airconditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The principles have over the years undertaken numerous overseas study tours to the United States and Europe. Much of the experience gained from their links with overseas associates has been successfully applied to the satisfaction of clients in South Africa.	download certificate
Parsons & Lumsden's knowledge of the statutory regulations and local bylaws, ambient conditions and design parameters, typical contractual agreements, available products, and expertise with respect to contractors and maintenance personnel in South Africa, are made available from initial design phase through to completion.
